Stop at vineyard cottage for wine tastings and light snack of traditional goodies. In Pleterje visit the open-air museum Skansen to learn
about traditional way of baking bread in the old black kitchen and taste their very special wine. Dinner at excellent restaurant Hiša Fink. Enjoy a performance of classic music at mysterious Devil’s tower followed by a sweet treat at Berryshka chocolate shop and distillery and culinary experience at restaurant Ošterija.
Pomurje
For the perfect gourmet experience visit The Kocbek oil mill to learn about the hot and cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil. Taste a Chef’s menu at Restaurant Rajh, visit the Passero “chocolaterie” known for handmade chocolates, pralines, and delicious dry pears topped with chocolate. At Radgona Hills have a glass of traditional
Zlata radgonska penina sparkling wine. Depart to the Kodila Restaurant and Ham shop, taste different types of meat including cold starter and Chef’s dessert. Drive to Ižakovci, the island of love” and Lendava with the Vinarium Tower.

Slovenian Istria
During your adventure in Istria stay in a luxurious floating house in Portorož. For dinner drive to Torkla house, former “torkljarna”, an oil press, nowadays one of the best restaurants in the area. Join the search for the treasured truffles. On a Tourist farm Štok taste some famous wines of the region and try some local specialties.
In Istrian hillside visit a traditional Istrian house with a lush garden, the restaurant Na Burji for the highest culinary experience. Take a Vintage gourmet tour with old-timer cars through the tracks of old autochthonous varieties of olives. At Lisjak olive oil estate learn how to taste olive oil, enjoy typical Istrian cold-cuts, typical soup-Bobiči and Istrian fusi (pasta) with truffles.
Soča valley
Discover the original cuisine that follows the law of nature. Soča valley is awarded as the Eden destination since 2008 and demonstrates nature in its best disguise. Between the Alps and the Mediterranean sea is located Hisa Franko, the first Michelin 2* restaurant in Slovenia. Enjoy creative cuisine of Chef Ana Roš.
Drive through Soča river region, visit Kobarid with the World War I. museum, Kozjak waterfall, Bovec, Boka Waterfall. Travel to Trenta valley and wander around the Soča trail by the riverbank. Time for lunch in Bovec at Dobra Vila, a boutique hotel set in the style of 1920. Visit Tolmin and its Gorge, discover the famous Tolmin cheese.
Štajerska
Taste the modern cuisine born out of brotherly love. Hisa Denk located between the Austrian Styrian wine road and the Maribor Pohorje Massive is known for its creativity out of tradition and awarded with 1* Michelin. In the oldest town in Slovenia Ptuj visit vinery Kogl at Velika Nedelja that hosts some of the best wine collection white/red/sparkling of the country.
Head to Maribor that houses the oldest vine tree in the world. Visit the old vine house. Explore the old town on foot. Experience dinner at Mak restaurant, run by the same family of Hisa Denk. Both brothers are known in the culinary world. While Hisa Denk offers a combination of traditional creativity, Mak is yet another out-of-the-box dining experience.

Stunning Rovinj
Your gourmet adventure starts in Istrian Peninsula, to which you can arrive from different nearby airports. Choose between Trieste, Venice, Ljubljana, Zagreb, or Pula
Drive to picturesque Rovinj and after setting up at your hotel enjoy the tour of this charming fishing port. The evening is free at leisure.
Region of olives
Depart for a full day excursion of Istria, named the best region for olive-growing in the world.
Visit an olive oil producer near Bale to learn about the production process of Extra virgin olive oil. In Pula visit the Roman Amphitheatre and enjoy a walking food tour with food and wine tastings in three different restaurants.
Further to the Brijuni Islands known for the Safari park, about 16000 years old olive trees and the Byzantine castrum. Return to the mainland, learn about “The Red Land” of the Meneghetti vineyards and taste some of the white and red wines. In Vila Lav enjoy dinner on their peaceful terrace. Return to hotel.
Truffle hunt
In Poreč visit the Euphrasian Basilica from the 6th century. Proceed to Motovun, a small hilltop town. The area is very well known among foodies because the nearby forests are full of black and white truffles. Explore the hidden trails of the truffle of Istria accompanied by the professionals,
specially-trained dogs or just taste one of the menus of restaurant Zigante that combines flavors and scents of the sea and forest, meets tradition with modernity, and connects culinary skills with esthetics. Continue to the former imperial resort town of Opatija, located on the beautiful Gulf of Kvarner for overnight.
Golden island
After a morning walks through Opatija stop at in a “factory” of handmade delicacies: cakes, pastries, biscuits, pralines, and about thirty types of filling and chocolate of various flavors, Milenij Choco World. Continue to Krk island connected to the mainland by a bridge. It is Croatia’s largest island, and one of the busiest.
The north-western part of the island is subject to the fierce bura wind which leaves it with a barren wind-whipped look. A tiny Vrbnik village clinging to a hill is known as the center for Krk’s excellent Zlatina wine. We stop at Gospoja winery for a tasting. Continue to Plitvice National park. Overnight in Plitvice.
Cascading lakes
Discover one of Croatia’s most astounding natural sites: the cascading lakes of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Plitvice National Park. Walking trails hug the lakes, allowing us to journey on foot and watch as the water transforms from emerald, green to azure blue.
National Park comprises 16 terraced lakes surrounded by densely wooded hills, lies in the Lika region, and covers a total area of 300 km2, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of 8 km. Explore both upper and lower lakes with your guide. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice.
Moonscape island
Island of Pag is barren, rocky, and sepia-colored with vast empty landscapes. The Adriatic is a steely blue around it and when the sky is stormy the island is the most dramatic-looking place. Its karstic rock forms a moonscape defined by two mountain ridges, patches of shrubs, and a dozen villages and hamlets.
The cheese production tradition on the island is as old as sheep farming while the Liburni, an Illyrian tribe were the first farmers here. Get to know everything about cheese at Gligora Dairy. Visit Boškinac and reward yourself with a day of enjoyment in superb Dalmatian cuisine specialties. Drive to Zadar for overnight.
UNESCO sites
The historic center of Zadar is one of Croatia’s UNESCO World Heritage sites. Visit Organs art installations, Roman ruins of Forum Square, Church of St Donatus, and the bustling People’s Square, sample local food at the Green Market, and traditional Maraschino liqueur at a café. Enjoy a delicious tasting at the boutique Bibich winery and lunch at their
special estate. Sibenik visit: the St James’s Cathedral and UNESCO World Heritage site.
Further to the artists’ town of Trogir where scholars from around the world gather to study and paint. Explore the Old Town and see the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral of St. Lawrence. The final destination is Split. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at your own pace.
Culinary lesson
Visit the historic inner city of Split, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, with remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Drive to the estate Stella Croatica, where creating delicacies and natural cosmetics inspired by tradition. The afternoon is reserved for a culinary lesson.
Learn more about the local cuisine – cooking traditional dishes using fresh ingredients and spices from the garden. The host will present you the recipe and dishes you will make yourself. Learn how to consume this superfood in a modern way. At the end of the workshop, taste the fruits of your labor in a relaxed ambiance, engaging all your senses!
Island of sun
Take a ferry to Hvar, Queen of the Dalmatian Islands, considered one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world. Greeks from Paros first settled on the island in the 4th-century BC. Todays’ capital of the island is the picturesque town of Hvar. On a walking tour through narrow streets visit the Renaissance cloister, the old rectory that today houses a collection of lace,
manuscripts and books, the church with its collection of paintings, St Stephen’s Cathedral, and the Arsenal, a thick-walled fortress overlooking the harbor. In the afternoon drive to Hora estate, in the heart of the most fertile field, where little has changed since the Ancient Greeks arrived. Enjoy the tastes of organic products full of natural flavor and tastes. Overnight in Hvar.
Local delicacies
In the morning explore the city on your own. Later drive to Jelsa for a visit of a local wine producer Tomić winery. Beleca, Pošip, Plavac mali barrique, Veliki plavac mali are just some of the names Tomić winery is well known for. Tour the production section of the winery and enjoy wine tasting in the wine cellar modeled after the ancient Roman dining rooms named Triclinium.
Travel to Konoba Vrisnik known as one of the best Mediterranean cuisines on the Island.
Mouth-watering peka, fried fish, or grilled lamb with delicious house wine and amazing chocolate cake are just some of the delights they offer. The homely atmosphere will make a nice finale to your Hvar experience. Take a ferry to the mainland and continue your journey.

Stop at one of the famous authentic vineries to hear about the production of this world famous wine. Have a lunch in the small village of Panzano at Antica Macelleria Checcini to taste some
grilled meat paired with wines, owned by the legendary Dario Cecchini, called the singing butcher. Continue to the beautiful town of Sienna, a true gem of Tuscany, famous for the traditional horse race Palio di Siena. This evening overnight in one of the agrotourism estates in Chianti region, giving you the perfect opportunity to indulge in the taste of Chianti while observing the sunset.
Famous Vinegar
Head north to the charming Bologna, a city of red-brick palazzi and lengthy porticoes, and delicious food. After the tour of the city, visit the gelato museum dedicated to the history of artisan gelato, with all-you-can-eat gelato-guided tasting. In Modena visit one of the many producers of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena in the area. Tour the acetaia (vinegar cellar), learn about the production of balsamic
vinegar and taste traditional balsamic vinegar at different stages of aging. Continue to the Ferrari Museum and experience the Prancing Horse dream first-hand, as Maranello is just around the corner. For dinner enjoy a typical dish, tortellini (pastry filled with meat) paired with the world-famous light sparkling wine, the Lambrusco of Modena. Overnight in the Modena area.
Parmigiano&Prosciutto
Meet their majesties, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and Prosciutto di Parma ham. Visit an authentic Parmigiano-Reggiano dairy and learn about the fascinating story of a tradition that started over a thousand years ago with Benedictine and Cistercian monks and leads to the artisan production of the world’s most famous cheese. Taste the cheese and discover the differences between the various
degrees of maturation. Next, visit one of the family-run Parma ham productions, where the mythical Prosciutto di Parma is produced. Hear how the certified Parma ham can only be produced in the hills around Parma and what it takes to get a delicious slice of Prosciutto di Parma on your plate. In the afternoon travel to the northeast of Italy for overnight.
Prosecco route
Travel along the incredibly scenic, 47 km long route, embraced by small, terraced vineyards and picturesque villages. Here, between the Dolomites and Adriatic Sea, the famous wine Prosecco is produced in small, family-owned wineries. Explore the Prosecco wine
route hiking or cycling and admire the amazing scenery and only modest traffic. Our secret tip for lunch is Trattoria Fos da Marai, from where you have a breath-taking view of the area and taste some home-made food, such as gnocchi with meat ragout.
Rialto Market
Spend your last day in Italy exploring Venice, an enchanting city of pretty canals, ancient palaces, magnificent piazzas, and serenading gondoliers. Visit the
Rialto Market with the freshest vegetables, fish, and seafood, a place to mingle with the locals and listen to the discussions about food. After lunch tour ends.
